The weekend show of the first-weekend Fall Frenzy MCAB event series is this Saturday, September 11: Dean and Britta presenting “13 Most Beautiful: Songs for Andy Warhol’s Screen Tests.”
Tickets are on sale now online and at the McCullough and CFA box offices for $7 (prices go up to $10 at the door). The event begins at 9:00 p.m. in the McCullough Social Space.
According to MCAB Concerts Committee, they’ve brought something that “the Midd community has yet to see on campus.” It’s “not just a concert, but a visual show, as well.”
With sponsorship from the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the music group Dean and Britta wrote a soundtrack to the painter’s film, 13 Most Beautiful. You can download some of their music online for free. Get a taste of the video part below.
