Sunday Reading: It’s back!

Hey everyone, I’m happy to announce that MiddBlog is back this year with Sunday Reading! I’ll be posting every Sunday night some random links to articles the editors and myself have been collecting over the week that we think you might find interesting. Feel free to email in any of your own suggestions for a cool article/video/image/tweet, etc. to tips@midd-blog.com. Enjoy!

Journalism: Another one bites the dust. Newsweek announced this week that they will transition to an all-digital format in early 2013. The last print edition in the United States will be the Dec. 31 issue.

Halloween: In case you’re looking for some inspiration to plan your costume in advanced, here is a little help from some very pop-culturally aware kids.

Art: An awesome read on the biggest art scam of the century. Also a great piece of career advice for any studio art majors.

Space: Technically should have been part of last week’s Sunday Reading, but who hasn’t always wanted to know what it would look like to drive a space shuttle through a suburban neighborhood?

Politics: A good prep guide for this week’s debate focusing on foreign policy. Also, a sweet infographic on how this election’s campaign finances pan out.

Science: Bad news bears. The 5-second rule has been disproven.

And a nice video pump-up for the week:
